RIP Robert Broyles

Character actor, drama teacher Robert Broyles died on February 12, 2011 in Los Angeles, California. Born in Sparta, Tennessee on January 20, 1933, Broyles mad 39 films and TV appearances between 1964 and 2000. Broyles appeared in such films as “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” (1977), “Norma Raw” (1979), and “Poltergeist” (1982).

  1. Thanks for posting this on Robert Broyles. The photo above is another actor from the movie "Poltergeist." Robert Broyles was the one wearing the yellow hardhat on the far left in this scene. Robert also appeared in "The Dukes of Hazzard," "Return to Mayberry," and "Matlock."
