Actor Hans Lindgren has died at 80 years old.
Lindgren passed away on Friday November 2nd said the
family of TT spectra.
After his film debut at the age of ten in the classic
"Our gang" (1942) he had a career that spanned almost 70 years, both
on stage and film. Lindgren was primarily one of Sweden's most sought after
voice actors, best known as the narrator in the film about the bull Ferdinand
and who has become an immortal part of Donald Duck on Christmas Eve programs on
SVT. Lindgren was also the voice of Bernard in "Bernard &
Bianca", the snake Kaa in "The Jungle Book" and several other
beloved cartoon characters. Hans was a Swedish
The National Theatre was something of Hans Lindgren's
spiritual home, where he toured at various times from the 1950s onwards. At
Stockholm's private theater scenes Hans had major roles in "Some Like it
Hot" and "Spanish Fly", and in several of the Carl-Gustaf
Lindstedt and Arne Källeruds productions.
