The actress María Idalia dies
Who participated in the first Mexican telenovela.

The National Association of Performers (ANDI), announced the death of the actress María Idalia, who participated in the first telenovela in Mexico "Senda Prohibida" in 1958.
It was through their social networks that the Directive Council and the Surveillance Committee of ANDI reported that the mother of the actor Leonardo Daniel and wife of the Spanish actor Lorenzo de Rodas, passed away at 87 years of age.
"She is remembered for her participation in the telenovelas Senda Prohibida, Monte Calvario and Blessed Lie. Our condolences to family and friends, "said ANDI.
As a farewell, Leonardo Daniel, who has participated in series as an intimate Enemy and The Lord of the Skies, decided to post a message to his mother through social networks.
"Mom, thank you very much for being all my life, for being an example of love. Now you start a new journey towards a great rebirth. All my love in this new adventure that, I'm sure, will be wonderful. I love you, "he wrote at the bottom of the photo.
María Idalia García was born in Mexico City on October 29, 1931. She was the daughter of Cuban journalist Octavio García and actress Celia Rubí, who excelled in theater and radio soap operas.
It should be noted that, with the death of María Idalia, the actress María Antonieta de las Nieves, remains as the only survivor of Prohibited Senda, the first telenovela in Mexico.
